› 2010, Design project in the bachelor studies at the Accademia di Architettura Mendrisio in the studio Riccardo Blumer.

›  Under the motto “Flying Architecture”, we dealt with clouds in Prof. Riccardo Blumer’s introductory studio at the Accademia di Architettura. In small preparatory exercises, clouds in nature were analysed, sketched and represented in the form of models. The final task of the semester was to develop a movable model made of wood, which was hung in a frame with the help of strings that could be alternately tightened or loosened by a motor, thus setting the object in motion dynamically.

Our first design assignment in our architecture studies may seem a little distant from architecture. However, the project has once again increased my enthusiasm for design, concept and testing the limits of what is possible.
